Definition of Ready

Criteria

Our Definition of Ready represents the requirements for work to be undertaken by the development team and brought into a sprint.

We should refine stories on a regular basis to bring them in line with this definition, to be brought to Sprint Planning where we can schedule and commit to undertaking the work.

Acceptance criteria is in place
The intent of the story and the work involved is understood by the team and/or clearly documented
The story represents adding value
Outcome of the story is something deliverable
The story is broken down into earliest deliverable chunk, as soon as there is value, we should split work up.
There are no known blockers
